Wow factor aside, the fact that this went mainstream, or semi-mainstream speaks to the power of Twitter and community building. Ms Dunford has a pretty good following on Twitter, is picky about who she follows and obviously has a bully pulpit online. Hey, isn’t that what the press used to have?
